First time coming here and the place was packed! My wife and i decided to sit at the bar and we were quickly greeted by nicole. Nicole is an awesome, full or energy and can brighten up your day type of person. Our food didn't take long at all to receive and it looked amazing! I got the hobo omelette ( pictured ) and my wife got the vegetarian. The food was delicious, the portions were big and the prices were good. We were very delighted with the place, service and hospitality of this restaurant. We are most definitely coming back for more of this amazing place! Ps: while sitting at the bar my wife and i were enjoying watching the employees work together as a team and looking at all the amazing food being served.
Black Bear is a Northern California diner staple. The food is not on the inexpensive side, but you go there for the hearty plates that are served there. A standard when it comes to a nice, full breakfast, but they also have lunch and dinner options, too, if you so desire to come during those times of the day. Be sure you have a big appetite and at least 25-30 dollars minimum on you when you go to eat there.
This was our second time here and if you judge the plates by their cover, then you know why. They fill the plates (they're not small to begin with) with delicious food, so come hungry or expect to bring food home. The service is great and the diner is comfortable, like entering a cabin with their bear and rustic decor. Their prices are reasonable and both times we visited, there was no wait. A definite recommendation.
I am a regular at this location. I have slowly tasted a lot of the items in the menu. The food is always delicious, with big portions, and I have not had one bad dish. I do have my favorites, like the Crunchy chicken wrap, the turkey dinner, and the all you can eat fish and chips on Fridays. If you are wanting a place with good food and great customer service, stop on by.
I've visited this location a couple of times, and it has always had a very at-home feel to it. The food looked and tasted equally amazing, and my only regret was not taking a picture before I had already polished off the eggs, fruit, and half of my french toast. The staff is so relaxed and kind and incredibly attentive that it really made the whole experience worth mentioning and looking up other locations for future travels.
Simply delicious! Fast & great service. My kids enjoyed everything they ordered. Thought it was a little pricey. 18 for a chorizo & egg burrito and 20 for an omelette with potatoes. Kids menu was very affordable and a great value. Their chocolate cream pie could have been better... the oreo crust was barely even there. My kids definitely wanted to go back.
Great diner ! Server was handling everything from hosting to being a cashier... poor thing! She was handling everyone with utmost care and attention. Amazing service! Please make sure to tip the waitress well if they do a great job! Not only at this place but everywhere you go. It's not an easy job!
Came for breakfast and food was delicious and blueberry pancakes were great!! Mj served us and she was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back!!
